Laura Waters Hinson

doc Laura Waters Hinson is a filmmaker and photographer based in the Washington, DC area. She is president of Image Bearer Pictures and has a master of fine arts in film from American University. Recently, Laura served on the production team of 14 Women, an acclaimed documentary film on the lives of the 14 female U.S. senators. Since graduating from Furman University in 2001, Laura has worked as a development coordinator for the Discovery Health Channel, as a research assistant for MSNBC host Chris Matthews, and as a production assistant at Guggenheim Productions. Laura also spends her time as a freelance photographer and is currently forming a non-profit to promote reconciliation projects in Rwanda.


Donnacha Toomey

doc Donnacha Toomey is a lecturer in Media and Broadcasting at the Institute of Technology, Tralee. Donnacha's students are mostly involved in the production of short films, TV documentaries, radio programmes and commercials. Donnacha has previously worked as a lecturer in Digital Media at the University of Limerick and as a Production Co-ordinator for RTE Lyric FM. He is also a musician and has produced his own albums including 'Reasons' (2005) and the forthcoming 'Standing Ground' for release in January '09.


Patrick O Neil
Patrick Patrick O Neil is a film-maker/Producer.
Patrick spent many years overseas in London and New York as a screen writer. Patrick was also involved in the music industry while in London. He was the lead singer for his band "Duck". His most recent and biggest undertaking has been the production of a feature film shot in Tralee Co. Kerry and London, "Spiderhole" which is set for release sometime in the near future and will hopefully be the jewel in the crown of Patrick's work thus far and establish him in the world of film.
Lisa McElligott
doc Lisa McElligott is a designer and educator, committed to the exploration of design, visual communication, and interactive media. A design lecturer in the Department of Business and Informatics at the Institute of Technology Tralee, her primary duties include design, delivery and development of design content across a range of programmes. Research work to date includes: collaborative investigations into the development and implementation of visual designs for print and screen; tangible interfaces; audio interfaces; interactive media concepts; human computer interaction; sensing technologies; multimodal interfaces; the processes, generation and curation of design artefacts.
Marty Boylan
doc Marty Boylan is a lecturer in Interactive Multimedia at the Institute of Technology, Tralee. Marty, lectures in Multimedia Technology, 2D/3D Computer Animation, Claymation, Interactive Sensor Technology, and New Emerging Technologies. Marty has previously worked as a lecturer in Analog & Digital electronics at the University of Limerick. He is a successful entrepreneur with a number of patents and inventions to his credit. He is a member of MENSA and his hobbies include natural horsemanship and eventing.
Ashley Gaskin
Having graduated from the University of Aberdeen , Ashley Gaskin arrived in Tralee from U.C.D. in 1999. He lectures in Film & Television, Philosophy and Literature at I.T.T.. His research interests include the aesthetics of new media, cultural theory, Anglo-Irish literature and French cinema.
Neil Flynn
doc Neil is an award-winning writer: In 2007 he was one of the winners of the International Playwrighting Festival held by the renowned Warehouse Theatre, in London. In 2008 he was chosen as one of the winners of the Grit Productions International Playwrighting Competition and my play was showcased at Pacific Playhouse London directed by Jeremy Bond. In May 2008 Neil's play Clocked premiered at the Warehouse Theatre directed by Ted Craig. In 2007 his Radio Play Pantaloons was shortlisted out of 1600 plays in the BBC World Service Radio Playwriting competition.Neil has also been shortlisted for the RTE PJO'Connor Radio Drama Awards. His play Clocked is due to be published in 2009 by Oberon Books.
