Local Talent To Hit New Heights

A local Tralee writer is London bound this week for the premier of his recent Internationally selected play. Neil Flynn, from Lohercannon, Tralee,Co Kerry Ireland will have his play ''Clocked'' staged at the Warehouse Theater in East Croydon, London. The Take-2 Film Festival wishes Neil all the best in his production, and are looking forward to seeing the Tralee writer go to new and groundbreaking heights.

About Clocked

One of three plays selected out of over 600 entries for the 2007 International Playwriting Festival. Produced by Warehouse Theater Company, directed by Ted Craig, designed by Graham Constable.
Quinn, an artist, lives in a house inherited from his mother. In order to make ends meet he rents a room to Moore. a traveling salesman who works mostly at night. One evening when returning from work, Moore finds a stranger on the balcony. The stranger says his name is Ray and that Quinn has asked him to help with some painting. Is this true and why does Moore think he has met him before?
This intriguing and funny play keeps you guessing from start to finish. What does Moore sell so late at night? What is Quinn up to in his studio? And who is Ray?
The play shows influences of Samuel Becket, Harold Pinter and even Joe Orton, but retains a true originality and finesse that is the mark of a highly original new talent.
